Based on the experiences of Elżbieta Szczepańska this novel captures the truth about the life of her mother involved in Solidarność in Communist Poland.

Dear Reader, in your hands you hold a book about my life and challenges that I had to deal with.
My name is Elżbieta Anna Szczepańska, today I am ifty-seven years old. By profession I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. I am a political outlaw. I left the country after ten years of being the object of SB surveillance, with a passport giving me the right to go to
all the countries of the world, but with “no right of return”.
I am one of the few Polish women, activists of “Solidarity” and the illegal opposition towards the communist political power, who decided to leave the country alone. I left with a three-year-old child. I have been living in Australia for twenty years, the island of kangaroos,
koalas and sheep, as well as the social outcasts from the Kingdom of Great Britain and refugees from around the world.
